ST AGNES MEDICAL  CENTRE

On the 3rd July 2000, St Agnes Surgery and the St Agnes Medical Centre moved to a new purpose built medical facility.

The new ST AGNES MEDICAL CENTRE is on the site of the old Shell service station on North East Road, opposite the St Agnes Shopping Centre.

The new centre has been designed to provide the most up to date facilities with a special childrens playroom incorporated within a modern patient waiting area. A feature of the surgery is an enhanced treatment area with 4 treatment rooms, a nurses station, a privacy room for patients and 6 consulting rooms. The surgery is fully computerised, with an upgrade of our computer system taking place at the time of the relocation. Our current clinical software package enables us to utilise many features including "decision support" systems and advanced "search" capabilities.
St Agnes was the first practice in Australia to introduce this computer software.
All of the facilities previously available in the St Agnes Medical Centre have also been relocated. We are pleased to have additional services in the new centre, including a hearing service, podiatry and new physiotherapists as well as Drs Jones and Partners (xray), Gribbles (pathology), St Agnes Physiotherapy and our range of Medical Specialists.
