Dr. Karen Hand
Dr Karen Hand graduated from Adelaide University in 1989. She commenced working at St Agnes Surgery whilst completing her Post Graduate General Practice training in 1992. Karen has a keen interest in Medical Education and has also worked as a Medical Educator for eight years helping train the next generation of GPs. She enjoys working with the GP Registrars who come through St Agnes Surgery as part of their training program. Karen also has a keen interest in Women's health and is involved in the Antenatal Shared Care Program.
Karen grew up in the local area and is proud to be an ongoing part of the North Eastern suburbs community. She has four children who are now completing their schooling – she has enjoyed the flexibility of working in the local area whilst raising a family. Karen also enjoys playing netball, reading and attending theatre shows. |
