Phyu Cin Thant (@Cinny) grew up in Myanmar and relocated to Adelaide to study medicine.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from University of Adelaide in 2014, and a Master of Public Health in 2022. She has spent time working at different hospitals across Adelaide and a couple of years in Darwin, mainly in the general surgical fields prior to commencing GP training. She has found satisfaction in getting to know her patients and being able to provide a holistic patient centered care. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and can perform minor procedures such as simple skin lesion / lump removals, Implanon insertion and removal, and iron infusions. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, travelling and reading fiction. |
