Vaccinations

At St Agnes and Tea Tree Surgery, we offer a wide range of vaccines for all ages.

An updated National Immunisation Program can be found here.

If you have an enquiry regarding a specific vaccination or Travel vaccinations - please book an appointment with your Doctor to discuss.

RSV Vaccination

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a serious disease for newborn babies and infants.

From 3/2/2025, women will be able to receive free RSV vaccines between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy to assist in protecting their newborn baby.

Influenza and whooping cough vaccines are also free during pregnancy.

Book in with your Doctor to discuss and administer the vaccine.

Influenza & COVID-19 Vaccinations

Every year we open clinics specifically dedicated to Flu and COVID vaccinations. These clinics provide easy access for all patients to seasonal vaccinations. All immunisation clinic appointments are bulk billed.

All COVID vaccinations are provided free to all patients.

Flu vaccinations are free to eligible patients:

Pregnant Women
Aged 65 years and over
Aged 6 months to under 5 years
Medically at risk (MAR)
Aboriginal persons 6 months and older
People who are homeless

All other patients will be charged a fee for the cost of the vaccination only.

Please call either of our surgeries to book into these clinics.

Shingles Vaccination

This year has seen the introduction of a new PBS funded Shingles vaccination - Shingrix.
This replaces the previously available - Zostavax.

Shingrix requires two doses to be given 2-6 months apart.

We have opened dedicated Shingles vaccination clinics to meet the demand for this newly released vaccination. To be eligible for Shingrix immunisation - the follow criteria need to be met:

Aged 65 years or over
First Nations people - over 50 years
18 years and over considered at increased risk

Shingrix cannot be administered to anyone who has had Shingles in the preceding 12 months.
It should not be given within 5 years of previous free Zostavax vaccination.

Please call either surgery to book an appointment.
